Both Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk have weight-in and we will have a blockbuster fight for the undisputed heavyweight championship in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia on Saturday.
Fury looks to be in better shape as he has slimmed down to 262 pounds. His last fight he was weight in at almost 280 punds. Oleksandr Usyk weight-in at career-high 223.5 pounds. This fight was originally scheduled for Feb. 17 before Fury suffered a severe cut in sparring. This is the first undisputed heavyweight championship fight since Lennox Lewis defeated Evander Holyfield in November 1999.
“I’m ready to rock and roll,” Fury (34-0-1, 24 KOs), 35, said. “Fireworks tomorrow night. I’m going to knock that f—er spark out. I’m coming for his heart. That’s what I’m coming for. F— his belts. I’m coming for his f—ing heart.”
“Don’t be afraid,” Usyk (21-0, 14 KOs), 37 said he told Fury, during their faceoff. “I will not leave you alone tomorrow.” Usyk said. Fury played his usual mind games throughout the promotion. But Usyk was unbothered by them the theatrics. Tyson Fury dad John Fury head butted a member of Usyk team earlier in the week. The head butt resulted in a gash in Fury’s forehead.
Fight fans are ready to see these two titans get it on, somebodies 0 will have to go. This fight will bring complete clarity to the Heavyweight division. Will the Gypsy King continue to reign supreme or will the former cruiserweight champion continue his dominance and solidify himself as the best heavyweight in the world?
